Operations Support Manager

We are seeking an ambitious Operations Support Manager, looking to create significant value by supporting the expanding National Service Delivery team to deliver on growth and performance. 

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager of National Service Delivery (GM NSD), the successful candidate will lead the optimization of our Service Delivery through the use and analysis of data, identification of trends, coaching the Regional Service Delivery Managers (RSDMs) and implementing consistent national wide strategies and projects, in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness and address the trends/required improvements. 

The key responsibilities of the position includes;

  • Work with GM NSD, the RSDMs and the People & Culture team  to ensure efficient use of resources, particularly around utilization of Support Workers, Support Coordinators and the management of expenses
  • Assist RSDMs to identify and implement projects, portfolios and strategies (nationally consistent) to address and highlight any gaps at a national level
  • Lead the reporting, analysis and identification of financial trending, issues and hot spots
  • Coach and provide tools to the Service Delivery team to increase the understanding of financial operational data
  • Support the Business planning and budget development process with each region
  • Support GM NSD & RSDMs on any other service delivery matters that impact the business

The Candidate

This role will suit a dynamic and agile professional who can hit the ground running within a fast paced business, the successful candidate will have;

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce/Finance / Project Management/ Disability Management
  • Proven Financial / Commercial & Project Management skills and experience in a medium to large dynamic organisation
  • Demonstrated success in providing value adding analysis and reporting
  • Excellent relationship building skills and demonstrated experience in engaging colleagues 
  • Strong written and verbal communication and coaching skills.
  • Experience within the NDIS and the Disability and/or community sector is desirable
